Aaron Rodgers looking for "greatness" from Packers offense

There was a lot to like about the way the Packers played on Sunday. They forced three Broncos turnovers while having none of their own, they didn't allow a sack and ended the day with a 27-16 win that leaves them with a 3-0 record on the season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he was "ecstatic"

I think that's good.

Confusion about what down it was cost Packers FG attempt at end of first half

The Packers beat the Vikings 21-16 on Sunday afternoon, but they may have had an even bigger lead to protect down the stretch if not for some confusion near the end of the first half. An Aaron Rodgers pass to Geronimo Allison on third down was ruled short of the sticks, but Rodgers thought that

Akiem Hicks believes Bears defense can be 'even more dominant'

The bright spot in the Bears' heartbreaking season-opening loss to the Packers was the defense. They already looked to be in midseason form.

The Chuck Pagano-led unit that returned 10 starters held Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense to just 10 points.

They also kept their own offense in the game until the final seconds, maintaining a one-score deficit throughout.

All of those things don't mean anything if you don't come away with the win.

"You can't take a whole lot away from it because we still didn't come away with the victory," said defensive tackle Akiem Hicks. "So you look for every play you could've done just a little better. You look for every play you maybe missed your assignment that you've got to shore up your technique and play better. We're not interested in moral victories here. We're interested in playing good football.
