My Prediction

This could be Tampa's best shot to steal a game tonight as the Dodgers will be going with a bullpen game and although they'll have lots of good arms pitching I sense a big risk in using different arms tonight as one early mistake could swing this game in the Rays favor.

Blake Snell will start for Tampa and Tony Gonsolin will start for the Dodgers with Dustin May expected after him.

Make sure you find a good Showdown contest tonight, we often times get locked into just chasing that big $100K to first prize in DraftKings Showdown and we need to remember that single entry spots pay out better ROI.

Manny Margot has been one of their better hitters and projects as someone to consider against Gonsolin/May. Mostly I am looking for the Rays who strikeout the least and can get on base to do some damage and that would be Manny Margot only since Yandy Diaz isn't getting the start tonight.

Tampa stack: Manny Margot / Brandon Lowe / Austin Meadows

Captain pick: Austin Meadows / Blake Snell

Hard not to like Mookie Betts again, who has good history against Snell (7-23, 1 HR and 4 SB) and clearly is on track to be the World Series MVP so long as the Dodgers hold on to win the series. After him, Justin Turner I felt had a bad AB in the first inning which let Glasnow off the hook, but with Snell less likely to lean on his fastball and more his secondary pitches I would expect Turner to feast on that.

Dodger stack: Betts-Turner-AJ Pollock

Captain pick: Justin Turner

Pitchers

Blake Snell - $15,900 for Captain spot

Consider Snell your sneaky captain pick of the night. At this high price tag lots will want to get a hitter in this spot rather than trust Snell against the LAD lineup.

Tony Gonsolin

Tampa strikes out a ton vs RHP and Gonsolin does a good job keeping the ball in the park, I wouldn't use him in captain but would in FLEX.

Dustin May (Expected in relief)

May is expected to come in tonight after Gonsolin with Walker Buehler going in Game 3 and Julio Urias waiting for game 4. Things could always change though and they pivot off this decision based on how Gonsolin is pitching, but I like May in a 2-3 inning role as a FLEX choice.

Bullpen RP to use:  Nick Anderson (Tampa)

Home Run Call: Austin Meadows

My Prediction

This could be Tampa's best shot to steal a game tonight as the Dodgers will be going with a bullpen game and although they'll have lots of good arms pitching I sense a big risk in using different arms tonight as one early mistake could swing this game in the Rays favor.
