Tonight brings an 11-game slate starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. Droppin Dimes will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will have one player at each position with a full write-up, and a few value plays. These are my favorite options. You won't always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. Players listed first at each position are my favorite and a good start to build a lineup around.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites).

Keep an eye on the injury status of players as they can be ruled out right before lock.

Game of the Night: Brooklyn Nets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Corey Joseph, Detroit Pistons ($3,900)

The Pistons started Saben Lee last game, and he played 24 minutes, while Joseph came off the bench and played 29 and was more efficient with his time. He has been solid on the year, averaging .8 fantasy points per minute, and if he gets around 25-30 minutes, Joseph will exceed value. The matchup is ideal as the Raptors have been one of the worst defensive teams as of late, allowing the third-most fantasy points over the past 15 days. Saben Lee is a solid option as well, but I think Joseph has the higher upside.

Also consider: Luka Doncic, Russell Westbrook

Value: Reggie Jackson, Terrence Mann

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers ($8,500)

George has been averaging around 34 minutes per game, 43 fantasy points over the last five. He has exceeded the 40 fantasy point mark in four of the last six games. The matchup is good tonight against the Bucks, who rank 20th against opposing shooting guards. George comes in with a 49 fantasy points projection tonight with a ceiling of 64.

Also consider: Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart

Value: James Robinson, Broderick Thomas

Jaden McDaniels, Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,300)

McDaniels has averaged 29 minutes over the last five games but has exceeded 33 over the last two. He has also exceeded 20 fantasy points over the last three games. His price and minutes are two good reasons to look at McDaniels. Then you add in the matchup against the Nets, who have allowed the 10th most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. This adds another reason to target McDaniels tonight.

Also consider: Kawhi Leonard, Jerami Grant

Value: Cedi Osman, Marcus Morris, Kendrick Williams

Keldon Johnson, San Antonio Spurs ($5,300)

Johnson has been a boom or bust player this year, showing a ceiling of over 50 and a floor in the low teens. Over the past five games, Johnson has averaged 29 minutes and around 20 fantasy points. A few of these games were in tougher matchups. The matchup tonight is above average as he plays against the faster-paced Kings, a weaker defensive team. His solid minutes, lower price, and matchup are the reasons why I am targeting him tonight. I have him projected for 32 fantasy points tonight.

Also consider: Domantas Sabonis, Jayson Tatum, OG Anunoby

Value: Lauri Markkanen, Dean Wade, Trevor Ariza

Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves ($9,900)

Towns has exceeded 50+ fantasy points in three of the last four games with 20 or more real points and 10 or more rebounds in all three of those games. He is averaging 35 minutes and 52.6 fantasy points over the last five games. A smash spot for him tonight as he faces the Nets, who rank 25th against opposing centers. The Nets have been a team to target with opposing big men over the past few years, and I will continue to do so tonight. His recent performance and matchup are the reasons to target him. I have him projected for 54.8 fantasy points with a ceiling of 72.

Also consider: Moses Brown, Jonas Valanciunas

Value: James Wiseman
