We're officially in Week 1 of the CFB season and last Saturday nights small 3 game appetite went well as the top game of the night Hawaii vs Colorado St. lived up to expectations. This week we have a larger slate which helps us in tournaments and also should open up some more value plays but honestly it's not a great slate tonight as we still have a ton of cupcake teams on the schedule.

TEAMS To Target ... For Offense
CENTRAL FLORIDA ... A game theory for a fade of the UCF attack would be that they're under a new HC/OC and have a slightly different scheme. That said, it's a spot where they should be able to defeat a UCONN team that simply does not have the same amount of talent.
McKenzie Milton (UCF) - $11,700
Even priced at 11.7k this week as the highest priced QB, Milton is worth paying up for and is a cash game focus this week for sure. The dual threat QB leads the high flying UCF offense into UCONN against a team that gave up nearly 7 yards per play last year and when these two teams met Milton threw for 311 yards., rushed for 52 and accounted for three touchdowns. His floor is about as safe as they come this week.
David Pindell (UCONN) - $6,300
Game stack with Milton in the SuperFlex spot -- we should see and use this strategy quite a bit this year as the two best plays in a high scoring game will almost always be the QB.
Tyler Huntley (UTAH) - $10,000
I think Huntley is a CFB DFS star this year. He is a second year starter who is behind a solid offensive line and reports are he has bulked up during the off-season to allow himself to take more hits while rushing the ball. Not a great passer out of the pocket, but someone who can take off and run and score rushing TD plenty.
Matt Colburn (WAKE) - $7,200 - Tulane is bad and Colburn is the guy who should benefit the most from their poor defense.
Peyton Huslig (MZST) - $5,100 -With the Super-Flex position this year it makes sense often to take a flier on a cheap QB in that spot and Huslig provides that. At 5100 he can easily return 2x or more in a spot where he will be trailing most of the game
(QUESTIONABLE) Clayton Thorson (NW) - $7,400 - Thorson is coming off an ACL injury and was even listed on the inury report for Northwestern this week. His status is definitely a question mark to monitor.
Justice Hill (OK St) - $9,500
This is a new year in Oklahoma State and Hill is expected to be the main focal point. He's the top RB I would consider paying up for today. Hill lead the Big 12 in rushing last season and should be near the top again this year.
Zach Moss (UTAH) - $8,900
Moss, Hill and Smith are the top three "stud" RB to target on this slate.
Rodney Smith (MINN) - $8,500
Behind a solid o-line and against a bad opponent, Rodney Smith should carry the workload here and be a popular cash game play this week.
Otis Anderson (UCF) - $5,800
Another option in the UCF-UConn game.
Jeremy Larkin (NW) - $7,600
Larkin will fall under the radar in terms of ownership given the other choices on the slate, but with a QB coming off an ACL injury he could bare the load more this week.
Zavier Scott (UCONN) - $4,600
Part of a 1-2 backfield for UCONN, if they're going to hang with UCF they need to get a spark from their backs Scott and Mensah.
Other Value: Stephon Huderson
Greg Dortch (WAKE) - $7,700
If you haven't heard the story about Dortch's injury, you need to go look it up. He had a freak injury last year when the pylon punctured his small intestine. He is okay now, but that is just crazy freaky. Oh, he's also the top WR on this slate to pay up for.
Jalen McCleskey (OKST) - $7,100
I would expect OK St. to mostly keep the ball on the ground but if you want to take a low owned WR flier in this game McCleskey is the guy.
Bennett Skowronek (NW) - $6,200
Hergy Mayala (UCONN) - $6,000
Riley Miller (BALL) - $4,500
Tre Nixon (UCF) - $3,000
Nixon transferred from Ole Miss and at 3k should be a popular value play this week, we should have 100% exposure to him.
OTHER VALUE: Courtney Rush, Sage Surratt
