Budaj is in net tonight for the Leafs which makes him a popular and good choice instead of Vasi.....

FAVORITE STACKS

FLYERS / LEAFS ... I got a little too excited for this game when I saw it. Kadri as a one off is a nice pivot off the Matthews-Nylander line and there's always the fun JVR revenge narrative (although he is questionable). I don't mind mixing in matching the Leafs here because the expectation is we get an up-tempo game with lots of scoring chances from various lines. For the Flyers Wayne Simmonds is my favorite play with Jordan Weal and Val Flippula. Shayne "Ghost" Gostisbehere is the favorite one off Flyer tonight.

CAPITALS ... The Oilers are dead last in Penalty Kill % to start the season and Washington is looking to rebound after a disasterous start to their road trip the other night in Vancouver. The Caps should see some good PP opportunities and against a struggling Oilers team that means we can look for Ovi to light the lamp from his office tonight. Backstrom was at morning skate today which means the Backstrom-Oshie-Ovie tournament stack is in play tonight to get both Second Line exposure as well as Ovi PP exposure. Doing a game stack isn't bad either as Washington isn't playing lock down defense this year. On FanDuel you can actually fit a McDavid-Maroon-Backstrom-Oshie stack.

LIGHTNING ... The Ducks were atrocious the other night in Florida and while I don't think they let in 8 goals vs Tampa tonight, who wouldn't be shocked to see Kucherov continue his torrid pace? Stamkos-Kuch-Namestnikov again.... Rinse and repeat.

SNEAKY

COYOTES ... The Coyotes stink, there's no way around it and we'll see the Devils be chalky tonight because of that and a high over/under. However, Im not impressed with the Devils enough to eat their chalk and love the Coyotes top line of Stepan-Keller-Domi as a nice value stack to allow for higher priced one off's in other games. The Devils played an overtime game last night and should be a little sluggish tonight.

Mini Stacks

Bruins - Patrice Bergeron & Brad Marchand in tournaments against a good Kings team should be contrarian tonight.

Kings - They're red hot to start the season and the Toffoli-Pearson-Kempe line is quietly getting it done.

Panthers - I don't love this game much but we can't ignore Florida's explosive potential. Andrei Barkov and Evengeni Dadanov seem to be getting into a nice groove.

Pens - Malkin and Kessel

Wild - Koivu and Granlund with Suter on the Point

Isles - Saros is usually my guy for some stupid reason, but can always get lit up. If you go Saros, he's a fantastic hedge goalie so consider JT and Lee

Blackhawks - The Avs got steamrolled by the Knights yesterday afternoon and welcome in the dangerous Hawks tonight. I love getting one or two of the Schmaltz-Kane-Panik line

GOALIES

Higher Price Tier

Andrei Vasilevskiy (Unconfirmed) ... If we're playing for the win tonight then Vas is the guy to roll with. Tampa is playing fantastic and the Ducks are not. Usually that means things will revert back at some point, but in this case that might help Vas if its a close game where he's seeing a ton of shots. He's very expensive on FanDuel and thus I won't force him in, but to lock in a win, he's one of the better choices tonight.

Jake Allen (Confirmed) ... Both squads draw a B2B contest tonight and The Blues are a nice -133 ML favorite tonight with Allen in net. Jake Allen has not allowed more than 2 goals at home all season and although he's not facing a ton of shots he should see a boost tonight against Columbus. For 8900 on FanDuel he's a nice discount off Vasi....

Low Price / Tournament Tier

James Reimer (FLA) ... Ducks are playing terrible and Reimer's got a good team in front of him. He had a hiccup on the road but should be good to win tonight against the Red Wings.

Juiiiice Saros (NSH) ... Hedge stack guy here! Hi. Play me and hedge stack me with John Tavares! Okay? Cool...... Nashville played last night but they're much better than the Isles -- especially at home....

CENTERS

  • Evgeni Malkin (PIT)
  • Steven Stamkos (TB)
  • Auston Matthews (TOR)
  • Connor McDavid (EDM) - He can avoid Backstrom tonight with the home linechange.
  • Sean Courtier (PHI)
  • Adrian Kempe (LAK) -- Kings are rolling

WINGS

  • Nikita Kucherov (TB) -- Best player in the game right now.
  • Phil Kessell (PIT) -- I love him and Malkin tonight for the Pens.
  • Max Pacioretty (MON) -- He's too cheap to ignore in a good matchup at home. The Habs are playing like *** but I'm willing to risk playing him at 5600 on DK and 6500 on FD for that goal upside.
  • Patrick Kane (CHI)
  • Alex Ovechkin (WAS)
  • Wayne Simmonds (PHI)
  • William Nylander (TOR)
  • Clayton Keller (ARI)

DEFENSE

  • Kris Letang (PIT)
  • Shayne Gostisbehere (PHI)
  • Alex Pietrangelo (STL)
  • Roman Josi (NSH)

LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT

Evegeni Malkin - Phil Kessel - Kris Letang -- High $$ Lock

Derek Stepan - Max Domi - Clayton Keller -- Low $ Lock

Do you guys want more individual plays? More stacks? Less individual plays (maybe just pick 3 per price tier)? Shoot me a msg on twitter (@steve_renner) to let me know................
