Thursday Hockey Night!
Another 11 game slate tonight...
oh. you want me to say something cool about the slate? Umm.. Lets win all the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LEAFS ... Guess who's back... Back again... Willie's back.... Stack the Leafs.... Wow. That was probably the worst analysis I've ever given. OK, technically Willie Nylander was never gone, but it's been too long since we stacked the Matthews-Nylander-Hyman crew and their opportunities are going to be endless tonight at home against the Hurricanes. I want all the exposure to this line that I can get tonight and expect Full Strength and PP goals tonight Willie....
FLYERS ... A little under the radar tonight will be the Flyers going into Ottawa where in his last three home games Craig Anderson has given up 3, 5 and 3 goals against the Canucks, Devils and Leafs. The Flyers aren't fast like the Leafs but they're better than the Canucks and Devils. I don't see how they don't out muscle a Senators team that usually gives up a high volume of shots.. Dare I say Nolan Patrick breakout game is tonight? Eh. That might be a little bold, so we'll just settle for the red hot Courtier-Girioux-Voracek line.
CAPITALS ... The Caps will be REALLY under the radar and provide a nice west coast hammer going into Vancouver. Markstrom appears to be drawing a start for the Canucks who are back home after a cross country tip. The Caps second line is here to do some damage. Backstrom-Oshie and Wilson.
HURRICANES ... Ryan-Williams-Skinner ... Skinner will be popular in cash games tonight because he shots the puck a ton and gets a nice pace boost in this game. Consider the whole line to save $.
STARS ... Edmonton ranks near the bottom so far in penalty kill and is really struggling out the gate. Stars PP unit of Seguin-Benn-Radulov is in play tonight to pivot off the Tampa high priced stack.
These teams I didn't mention and you should definitely look at for your one off's or mini stacks tonight. We faded the big Oilers/Pens game the other night but I don't see that being a solid play again tonight with the Jets and Pens.
Rangers ... New York welcomes in Arizona, who I think plays better tonight as Stepan returns to the Garden and I actually like the Coyotes to win. But the Rangers will be popular and Zibanejad-Nash make a nice combo
Sharks ... Suucka Rask remains out which means one more start for Khudobin. Burns is heating up and Couture has had some good games lately too.
Penguins ... Jake Guentzel should have a huge game tonight, which means Crosby could rack up the assists as well. Consider them together.
Jets ... Who wants some Little-Laine? Yes, please.
Lightning ... No, I didn't forget the hottest line this season, but their price is high enough now that you can fade them. But Kucherov and Stamkos are almost always in play.
Andrei Vasilevskiy ... How to get exposure to Stamkos and Kuch without playing them? The goalie! Eh? He will be the top choice tonight in most formats at home versus Detroit. I kind of like Jimmy Howard on the other side to be contrarian in tournaments tonight. Actually. I really like it alot. But, Vasoline is the top goalie tonight.
Ben Bishop ... Edmonton is going to shoot the puck a ton and Dallas should kill off the power plays. I like Klefbom for the Oilers, but aside from that I think Dallas can come in and steal this game tonight.
Michal Neuvirth ... Flyers are my upset pick tonight in the Senators home. Neuvirth will see a high volume of shots and is a nice correlation pairing with the Flyers stack.
Braden Holtby ... It's usually not a strategy of mine to pay up for goalies, but Holtby has a great matchup tonight compared to the rest of the field.. If you can make him fit, I think tonights the night to consider it.
Adin Hill ... Coyotes win 3-2 and Hill stops 30 shots for Arizona to make Stepan's return a night he can enjoy finally.

LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT ...
Maple Leafs ............ Auston Matthews - William Nylander - Zach Hyman
CONTRARIAN LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT
Coyotes ................. Derek Stepan - Clayton Keller - Max Domi
TOP ONE OFF
Steven Stamkos - Best chance to be tonights John Tavares ... I am likely fading though because I can get a more balanced lineup without him and there's other guys in good spots.
