LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) Jane Park made a birdie and four pars as play resumed at the U.S. Women's Open, moving the American into a three-way tie for the lead after the rain-delayed first round.

Top-ranked Inbee Park returned to complete her opening round Friday and got to within a shot of the lead before a bogey at No. 17 left her two shots back, in a pack of eight players at 2-under 68.
A total of 55 golfers were forced to complete their first rounds starting 6:45 a.m. Friday, after play was suspended Thursday evening by a strong storm that pounded Lancaster Country Club with high winds and heavy rain. The second round started at 7:15 a.m. Friday.
