Wagner, Mulder tied for lead in celebrity golf tournament

STATELINE, Nevada (AP) Actor Jack Wagner and former pitcher Mark Mulder share the first-round lead Friday in the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe.

Wagner and Mulder each had 26 points in the modified Stablefield scoring system. Players receive six points for eagle, three for birdie, one for par, none for bogey and minus-2 for double bogey or worse.

Wagner, the 2006 and 2011 winner, had four birdies in his bogey-free round. Mulder had six birdies - four in a row on the back nine - and four bogeys.

Four-time champion Billy Joe Tolliver was third with 25 points.

Entertainer Justin Timberlake had 15 points.

Defending champion Mark Rypien had 10.
