DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) The LPGA Tour has added an event in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The tour said Wednesday that the LPGA Volvik Championship will played May 26-29 at Travis Pointe Country Club.

Volvik signed a three-year deal as the title sponsor. The South Korean golf ball manufacturer has been the official sponsor of the LPGA Tour for the past five years.

The 144-player event will have a $1.3 million purse.

The tournament will give the tour two events in Michigan. The Meijer LPGA Classic has been played the last two years in Belmont, Michigan.
