Neil Johnson: Life, golf on the mini-tours

Journeyman golfer Neil Johnson joins co-hosts Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell to talk about his time bouncing around the mini tour circuit

Max Homa's playoff win capped a wild weekend at the Genesis Invitational — and a big win for co-host Alex Lauzon. Plus, a look at how the rest of the field fared, including past guest Willie Mack III.

A shout-out to past guests Taylor Montgomery, who had a great week on the Korn Ferry Tour, and Aaron Olson, who announced a new job in a beautiful place.

Social media was abuzz with the 25th anniversary of "Happy Gilmore," and Lauzon wonders whether a sequel might be in order.

This week, the PGA Tour heads to Florida for a WGC event. And the alternate event, the Puerto Rico Open, once had this week's guest, Neil Johnson, in the field.

In "Tuned In," Lauzon and co-host Michael Russell were paying attention to the planet Mars, as the NASA rover Perseverance landed and has sent back incredible images and sounds.

This week's guest, Johnson, is a journeyman golfer and shares his story of grinding it out in the mini-tour world, and his new turn as helping out Money Q's Ryan French on Twitter.

Some quick hits in other sports round out the back half of the podcast, including J.J. Watt showing how he's just like the rest of us, and some more announcements on the CoL March Madness Bracket.

And as the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Russell correctly guesses what Lauzon can't get at the Texas grocery story anymore. Russell also shares what his homemade pizza was the past week.
