Video Ep. 23 | Have Clubs Will Travel: Waterville Golf Links

Have Clubs Will Travel host David Wood showcases Waterville Golf Links, another in a long line of golfing gems in Ireland. While Waterville, located in southwest Kerry County, has golfing roots dating back to the late 19th century, it really did not take shape until prolific Irish course architect Eddie Hackett designed the current layout in 1973.

In some respects, Waterville Golf Links is a young pup among the litter of great Ireland golf courses. Though the Waterville property has golfing roots dating back to around 1890, not until legendary Irish golf architect Eddie Hackett designed an 18-hole layout in 1973 did Waterville emerge. The course, which has been updated by Tom Fazio, is an absolutely beautiful design that showcases the natural terrain and waterfront views. Have Clubs Will Travel host David Wood showcases Watervlle in the Where To Golf Next travel series.
