1. Bryant (4-0) beat Jonesboro 43-14
Bryant rolled on a lengthy road trip to Jonesboro but had to sweat it out as the Hurricane were down just 14-7 in the third quarter before the Hornets pulled away.
2. Conway (5-0) beat North Little Rock 35-0
The Wampus Cats pitched their second shutout in as many weeks. A dominant defense combined with that high-flying offense is looking scarier each week.
3. Pulaski Academy (5-0) beat Mountain Home 52-14
The Bruins went on the road and scored their second-highest points of the season while rolling over the Bombers.
4. Greenwood (5-1) beat Greenbrier 49-21
For the second week in a row, the Bulldogs led 28-21 at halftime, but didn’t allow a point in the second half.
5. Cabot (4-1) beat Little Rock Southwest 41-0 (Thursday)
Southwest fumbled the opening kickoff that was recovered by Cabot at the Gryphon 22, and the Panthers could not be stopped from that point on.
6. Fayetteville (3-2) lost to Rogers 29-28
The Purple Dogs lost a heartbreaker on a last-second field goal. Their two losses this season have come by a combined four points.
7. Bentonville (4-1) beat Fort Smith Southside 48-14
Since falling to Conway Week 1, the Tigers have clicked on all cylinders outsourcing opponents 123-38.
8. Lake Hamilton (6-0) beat Van Buren 60-21
The Wolves spoiled Van Buren’s homecoming as the high-flying offense scored the most points so far this season, nearly matching the 63 they put on the Pointers last year.
9. Catholic (5-0) beat West Memphis 37-16
Down 16-14 at halftime, the Rockets cleaned up the mistakes and chewed the clock in the second half, shutting out the Blue Devils to remain perfect at the midway point of the season.
10. Joe T. Robinson (4-1) beat Vilonia 42-3
Leading 14-0 after a quarter, the Senators never slowed down. They will likely not be challenged again until they head to Mills on October 21.
11. Parkview (3-2) beat De Queen 42-0 (Thursday)
The Patriots scored all of their points in the first half and shut out the Leopards to begin 5A-South play 2-0.
12. Bentonville West (3-2) beat Springdale 41-0
The Wolverine offense continued to build off the second half surge during last week’s loss to Fayetteville, inflicting the sportsmanship rule on the Bulldogs, while the defense pitched a shutout.
13. Arkadelphia (5-0) beat Mena 54-7
The Badgers have dominated the first two games of 4A-7 play, outscoring opponents 103-19. They get a week off before finishing the regular season with three games remaining.
14. Little Rock Christian (3-2)
The Warriors were on a bye.
15. Camden Fairview (4-1) beat Texarkana 21-8
After jumping out to an early 14-0 lead, the Cardinal offense stalled for the most part, but the defense was able to hang tough to secure the win.
16. Benton (3-2) beat Marion 55-13
The Panthers got some revenge from last year’s quarterfinal loss against a battered Patriot offense, but the Benton offense imposed its will on what had previously been a solid Marion defense.
17. Shiloh Christian (4-1) beat Clarksville 57-13
Shiloh’s 5A-West slate has been a breeze through two games, pummeling Dardanelle and Clarksville by a combined 112-13.
18. Rogers (5-0) beat Fayetteville 29-28
Rogers made the biggest statement of Week 5, defeating Fayetteville on a last-second field goal and will skyrocket up the Power 25 next week after earning their first statement win in 7A play.
19. Wynne (4-1) beat Southside Batesville 42-21
Other than a setback against Magnolia two weeks ago, the Yellowjackets have looked great this season and earn another lopsided win to start 2-0 in the 5A-East.
20. Marion (3-2) lost to Benton 55-13
The Patriots had no chance stopping the Panthers’ rushing attack, as they were gashed for just under 300 yards.
21. Magnolia (5-0) beat Hot Springs Lakeside 55-28
The Panthers scored their most points of this season, trouncing Lakeside and are 5-0 for the first time since 2006.
22. North Little Rock (2-3) lost to Conway 35-0
Though they did show some fight, the Charging Wildcats made some critical mistakes that cannot happen against a team of Conway’s caliber.
23. Harding Academy (5-0) beat Lonoke 31-21
In a great performance that Lonoke deserves a ton of credit, the Wildcats had to claw their way to victory after being down 21-20 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
24. Mills (6-0) beat Maumelle 30-0
After having to come from behind to beat White Hall last week, the Comets throttled a struggling Maumelle team to pitch their first shutout since 2020.
25. Nettleton (4-1) beat Brookland 49-20
The Raiders responded to a heartbreaking, last-second loss to Batesville to earn their first victory of the season in 5A-East play.
