MarJon Beauchamp, a highly-touted basketball recruit from the class of 2020, has reportedly decided to transfer from Seattle's Rainier Beach High School to Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Recruiting service and media outlet Prep Hoops reported on Tuesday night that Beauchamp, the reigning Metro League MVP, decided to transfer to better position himself in the recruiting process, citing a desire to play in the McDonalds All-American and Jordan Brand Classic All-American games.

Scorebook Live's attempt to reach Beauchamp for confirmation was not immediately returned, but Beauchamp seemed to confirm the news by retweeting a quote tweet of the Prep Hoops report.

It will be Beauchamp’s fourth school in as many years, which has drawn criticism that Beauchamp addressed after the news broke late Tuesday night.

No Title

Even if I went to 10 different schools... I honestly don't care what y'all think😂you ain't living in my life.. y'all don't know what I go thru...so you either with me or against me🤷🏽‍♂️

The 6-foot-6 guard/forwad played his freshman season at Nathan Hale, transferred to Garfield as a sophomore and then Rainier Beach as a junior before his reported impending departure to Arizona.

Beauchamp was a part of 3A state championship teams at Nathan Hale and Garfield under head coach Brandon Roy. Rainier Beach lost to Mt. Spokane in the 3A state semifinals in March for Beauchamp’s junior season.

ESPN’s top-100 player rankings slot Beauchamp as a four-star and the 28th-ranked player nationally in the class of 2020. Recruiting site 247 Sports rates him as a five-star, and the top-ranked 2020 recruit in the state of Washington.

Beauchamp has offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State and Georgetown. He has made no indication where he might go, and on Tuesday evening retweeted a tweet of his from late April saying his recruitment is open and he has no favorites.

This story will be updated with any future developments.
