We’re taking an inside look at the top teams, best players, emerging X-factors and projected finish for each Class 3A boys basketball league around the state of Washington.

Here is a look at the 3A KingCo teams:

TOP TEAM

Mercer Island outlasted Interlake and has rolled the rest of the 2A/3A KingCo the first time through. The Islanders have size — four players 6-4 and taller — and a leader in Adam Parker.

PLAYER TO WATCH

Adam Parker, Mercer Island: The 6-foot-5 guard can shoot, defend the wing and is a big reason why the Islanders are undefeated through the first stretch of league play.

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR

Derek Kramer, Interlake: Any time there’s a 6-foot-10 player on the floor in a high school game, they’re going to demand attention. Kramer can rebound, score and has led the Saints in scoring.

PREDICTED LEAGUE ORDER OF FINISH

1. Mercer Island

2. Interlake

3. Bellevue

4. Lake Washington
