KENNEWICK -- Gavin Gilstrap scored 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Central Valley to a 68-53 win over Gonzaga Prep in the Class 4A District 8 championship game Friday night at the Toyota Center.

Noah Sanders scored 17 points and Jayce Simmons added 16 for Central Valley (21-2).

Liam Lloyd scored 20 to lead Gonzaga Prep (17-6). The Bullpups plays Chiawana on Saturday with a berth in the state tournament on the line.
