When O'Dea shooting guard John Christofilis woke up Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock, an email was waiting for him from Creighton University basketball.
He opened it. He electronically signed it. And he immediately became a member of the Bluejays 2021 recruiting class.
"I am fired up," he said. "It's a great fit for me. I can't wait to get on campus and play at that high level I knew I could always contribute at."
The 6-foot-4 senior is ranked as the No. 5 in-state recruit by 247Sports.com, and No. 6 recruit in Washington by ESPN.com. He committed to Creighton in late September, saying "they like to let it fly, as do I."
