King junior Alexis Mead voted Southern California girls basketball player of the week
Congratulations to King junior Alexis Mead for being voted Scorebook Live’s Southern California girls basketball player of the week!
Mead netted 15 points for King in a 54-48 victory over Roosevelt.
Mead received 52.74% of the vote, beating out Xavier Prep's Maliah Bosley who finished with 45.34%.

Rayah Marshall, Lynwood: Marshall dropped 17 points for Lynwood in their 65-28 victory against Warren.
Clara Wiltgen, Orangewood Academy: Wiltgen’s 15 points led the way for Orangewood’s 71-12 win over St. Margaret’s.
Vanessa DeJesus, Sierra Canyon: DeJesus put up 18 points against Chaminade in Sierra Canyon’s 59-34 win.
Maliah Bosley, Xavier Prep: Bosley’s 22 points led the way for Xavier Prep in their 47-42 win against La Quinta.
Emma Svoboda, La Quinta: Svoboda registered a 24 point-11 rebound double-double to go along with 7 blocks in La Quinta’s 42-47 defeat against Xavier Prep.
Kalaya Buggs, Long Beach Poly: Buggs’ 16 points against Compton helped LB Poly to a 63-23 win.
