Here are the candidates for the Scorebook Live Southern California boys basketball player of the week for Dec. 2-8, as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Players from the Southern, LA City and San Diego Sections are considered. Voting will conclude on Thursday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced Friday morning. Andrew Cook, Servite: Cook netted 33 points for Servite in their 72-58 win against Citrus Hill.

Devin Tillis, Windward: Tillis scored 29 points and grabbed 12 boards to go along with 4 assists for Winward against Taft.

Ian Martinez, JSerra: Martinez filled it up for JSerra with 35 points and 9 rebounds to lead his team to an 85-75 victory over Mayfair.

Clark Slajchert, Oak Park: Slajchert led Oak Park with 36 points to help them defeat Pasadena 68-58.

Brandon Whitney, Alemany: Whitney was scoring and setting up his teammates as he put up 29 points to go along with 11 dimes to give Alemany an 88-80 victory over Maranatha.

Evan Mobley, Rancho Christian: Mobley's strong double-double gave Rancho Christian a 77-74 victory over Christ of the King High School (NY) as he had 22 points, 17 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 blocks.

Ben Shtolzberg, Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks): Shtolzberg scored 32 points, grabbed 7 boards, and had 5 steals to help Notre Dame in their victory over University (Irvine).

Ryan Grande, LaCanada: Grande poured in 37 points and nailed the game winner to help LaCanada get the win again Dominguez.

Denzel Okoli, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy: Okoli put in a well rounded game for the Warriors with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals to help them take down Arcadia 75-62.

Wayne McKinney, Coronado: McKinney of Coronado had 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists to give him a triple-double against Serra High School.

Andrew Wilson, Newbury Park: Wilson did it all for Newbury Park with 30 points, 10 boards, 6 dimes, and 6 steals as he led his team to a win over San Fernando.

Keith Dinwiddie, Fairfax: Dinwiddie put up 39 points with 7 3 pointers to help Fairfax defeat Sylmar 99-58.

JT Tan, Rolling Hills Prep: Tan's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds helped Rolling Hill's Prep seal a 57-41 victory against Salesian.
