The Eagles took both games from No. 2 Santana last week to surge ahead in the Grossmont Hills League.

The Sultans lost to No. 1 Granite Hills 5-4 and 13-7 last week. They'll host Steele Canyon and Helix this week looking to stay alive for a league championship.

3. Torrey Pines (16-8)

Torrey Pines took two of three games from Poway. They lead the North County Coastal League by one game over No. 4 Rancho Bernardo with two weeks left in the regular season.

The Broncos have won six in a row after sweeping No. 10 San Marcos last week.
