SAN DIEGO SECTION TOP 10 BASEBALL RANKINGS

1. Granite Hills (20-4)

The Eagles beat Grossmont, Steele Canyon, and Helix last week and have now scored double digit runs in four straight games. They'll take on Steele Canyon and Santana this week having already secured the Grossmont Hills League title.

2. Rancho Bernardo (18-9)

The Broncos took two of three games from rival Poway but had their eight-game winning streak snapped in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Titans. They enter Tuesday's regular season finale against No. 5 La Costa Canyon tied atop the North County Coastal League standings.

3. Santana (17-6)

The Sultans split two league games last week and now sit in a tie for second with Helix in the Grossmont Hills League.

4. Madison (18-7)

The Warhawks have won seven of their past eight and took both games last week from St. Augustine, 8-5 and 13-2. They'll play three games with Point Loma this week, needing one win to clinch the outright Western League title.

5. La Costa Canyon (17-9)

La Costa Canyon played three intense games with rival No. 6 Torrey Pines last week. The Mavericks won two of three games, no-hitting the Falcons on Tuesday and winning via an eighth inning walk-off single on Saturday.

6. Torrey Pines (17-10)

Torrey Pines lost two games against No. 5 La Costa Canyon last week but still sit in a tie for first in the North County Coastal League with No. 2 Rancho Bernardo. They'll host Carlsbad on Tuesday to finish the regular season.

7. Francis Parker (22-3)

The Lancers took the first two games of last week's series against La Jolla Country Day but lost on Friday, snapping their 19-game winning streak. Two wins against Santa Fe Christian this week would give Parker the outright Coastal League title.

8. Montgomery (19-6)

Montgomery finished up the regular season by beating Eastlake 6-0 to capture the Metro Mesa League title. They'll await the playoff fate, likely sitting as the top seed in division two.

9. Helix (14-9)

The Highlanders beat No. 3 Santana 14-3 last week before losing to Grossmont Hills League champion Granite Hills. They'll play Santana, Steele Canyon and Grossmont this week to finish up the regular season.

10. San Marcos (18-7-1)

Anthony Pacino San Marcos

The Knights took the first two games against Carlsbad last week, the second coming via a walk-off home run before Carlsbad returned the favor in their game on Saturday. They'll travel to Poway on Tuesday before finishing up with La Costa Canyon in a previously rained out game.
