SBLive's California Top 25 football rankings: Sierra Canyon enters, now gets Chaminade

The Trailblazers up-and-down season continues with big Southern Section confrontation with the undefeated and eighth-ranked Eagles

It's that time of season. Teams that have shined and dominated can't get complacent. Those that have struggled have a chance to start peaking.

Most teams have two games left in the regular season — most in Northern California teams have three.

Sierra Canyon-Chatsworth scored a big 35-21 win over Serra-Gardena on Friday and debuted at No. 17 in the SBLive California Top 25 rankings. The Trailblazers have an even bigger test Friday against No. 8 Chaminade-Los Angeles (8-0).

Most of the other Top 25 teams are tuning up for the playoffs.
