El Camino Real regains No. 1 spot in the latest rankings

The latest Top 10 high school baseball rankings in the LA City Section as of March 11, 2024.

1. El Camino Real (5-2)

The Royals are back at No. 1 after falling to Narbonne, which is now just 2-9.

2. Birmingham (6-3)

The Patriots rise after a 1-0 win over Granada Hills Charter.

3. Granada Hills Charter (5-4)

The Highlanders lost a close one to Birmingham but then bounces back with a 7-0 win over Palisades.

4. Narbonne (2-9)

After being No. 1 for a week with win over El Camino Real, the Gauchos drop off after going on to lose four straight. Technically, Narbonne is 1-1 in the City Section - which epitomizes why it's hard to predict anything in the City, or even in baseball for that matter ...

5. Cleveland (6-2)

The Cavs will play Granada Hills on Wednesday in West Valley League play.

6. Garfield (6-1)

The Bulldogs have won six straight.

7. Carson (4-3)

The Colts have come out of the other side of a nice, tough nonleague schedule.

8. Verdugo Hills (5-3)

The Dons are 4-0 at home.

9. Palisades (3-3)

Dolphins are looking to pick themselves back up after two straight losses.

10. Sylmar (1-3)

Spartans are sharpening their tools for a late-season run.
