TOP 20 PITCHERS IN FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

1. Jake Clemente, Stoneman Douglas

Clemente, a Florida Gators commit, has a big frame (6-4, 210 pounds) and has hit 97 MPH on the radar gun this season. He has yet to allow an earned run in 32 innings pitched this season for the Eagles.

2. Ryan Cerrone, Northside Christian

Cerrone struck out a season-high eight batters in his last start (April 8) in a 1-0 loss vs IMG Academy Blue.

3. Zachary Root, Fort Myers

Root has recorded 10 or more strikeouts in three of his last four starts for the Green Wave.

4. Jordan Martin, Mandarin (Jacksonville)

Martin struck out eight batters in a complete-game performance in his last start (April 7) in a 3-2 win vs Alpharetta (Georgia)

5. Zack Showalter, Wesley Chapel

The South Florida commit leads the state with 72 strikeouts this season.

6. Bryan Rivera-Santiago, Leto

Rivera-Santiago recorded eight strikeouts in his last start (April 9) in a 3-2 win over Lennard.

7. Corban Little, George Jenkins

Little pitched a no-hitter in his first start of the season (February 25) as the Eagles defeated Ridge Community, 4-0.

8. Aidan Donovan, Fort Myers

Donovan recorded a season-high six strikeouts in his appearance on March 11 against IMG Academy Navy.

9. Nate Hook, Riverview

Hook has allowed one run or fewer in three of his four appearances this season.

10. Brock White, Forest (Ocala)

White recorded a season-high 7 strikeouts in four innings of relief back on April 1 vs North Marion.

11. Liam Peterson, Calvary Christian (Clearwater)

Peterson recorded nine strikeouts in three innings of work on February 25, in a 2-0 win over Lakeland Christian.

12. Elijah Roberts, Clay (Green Cove Springs)

Roberts recorded nine strikeouts in four innings back on April 6, in a 6-5 loss vs Creekside.

13. Jace Trautner, Mitchell

Trautner recorded a season-high 9 strikeouts in five shutout innings back on March 4.

14. Tyler Cannon, Foundation Academy

Cannon recorded a season-high 7 strikeouts on April 1, in a 5-0 win vs Trinity Prep.

15. Clayton Hendry, Middleburg

Hendry struck out 16 batters (season-high) in his March 1 apperance vs Keystone Heights.

16. Brandon Adams, Clay (Green Cove Springs)

Adams struck out a season-high 10 batters in his March 25 appearance vs Bartram Trail.

17. Christopher Smalley, Sarasota Riverview

Smalley recorded a season-high 8 strikeouts back on February 24.

18. Jack Weisman, Jupiter Christian

Weisman recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts back on March 1, in a 7-4 win over Lake Worth Christian.

19. Isaac Bates, Escambia

Bates has yet to allow a run in 22 1/3 innings pitched this season.

20. Tanner Reed, Sandalwood (Jacksonville)

Reed has allowed just one run in 22 2/3 innings pitched this season.
