Look: Jayden Heavener strikes out 17 to lead Pace over Spruce Creek in Florida 6A Softball Regional Semifinals
Heavener is widely considered the top pitcher in the nation in the class of 2024
PACE, Fla. - Jayden Heavener struck out 17 in a dominant complete-game performance to lead Pace to a 4-0 victory over Spruce Creek on Tuesday in the Florida (FHSAA) 6A Softball Regional Semifinals.
Pace will play University in the 6A Regional Championship game on Friday.
Heavener, who is widely considered the top pitcher in the nation in the class of 2024, allowed just three hits and did not walk a batter. Shelby Mckenzie had the big hit for Pace with a two-run home run in the first inning.
