Parker St. John, Lakeland Christian
When Lakeland Christian head coach Danny Williams decided to make the huge decision to go for the game-winning 2-point conversion in the pivotal Class 1A-Suburban, District 5 contest, St. John’s number was called. Going for the win, St. John scored the go-ahead 2-point conversion to give the Vikings the 1A-S, District 5 championship.
Jason Patterson, Sneads
All season long, Patterson has been one of the state’s top running backs and this past week was another example of why. Patterson had himself a big night, rushing for 301 yards on 19 carries and threw touchdowns in a 43-14 win over Lighthouse Private Christian.
Preston Wright, Trinity Catholic
When it comes to Marion County teams, Trinity Catholic has been the county’s top team week in and week out. Wright played lights out for the Celtics in their latest win, 26-21 over Ponte Vedra. The quarterback completed 28-of-34 passes for 338 yards and a touchdown.

The University of Florida commitment has played superb all season long and Friday’s 45-31 win over Oakleaf was no different. Whittemore threw five touchdown passes against the Knights.
Armani Barbancourt, Somerset Academy-Canyons
We don’t give enough love to the big boys up front on the offensive line, but here’s for trying to make up for that. Sophomore offensive lineman Armani Barbancourt had himself a night against Delray Beach American Heritage, with four pancake blocks in a 27-16 win.
