THREE TO SEE
Zayn Alrobae, wide receiver
Impacted the game on both offense and special teams in 2018, huge asset for the Royals this fall.
Tanner Fahey, wide receiver
Fahey’s reliable hands will help whoever steps in at QB after last year’s starter’s exit.
Sean Monan, defensive back
Started as a sophomore and made some big plays.
OUTLOOK
Lynnwood enters the 2019 season full of hope as the Royals return a bunch of starting varsity talent to this year’s crew.
They return all-league talent in senior Zayn Alrobae, and juniors Tanner Fahey and Sean Monan, who will help make plays for an offense that loses its starting quarterback from last season, as well as three starting offensive linemen.
Defensively is where Lynnwood will see the most familiar faces, as they return a majority of their unit there with some solid pieces in the rotation.
Head coach Keauntea Bankhead enters his sixth season with the Royals this fall hoping to take the team back to a winning record, something they haven’t seen since 2016.
He’ll have his hands full, though, as the Wesco South will be very competitive this fall.
