Here are the candidates for the Washington Federal high school athlete of the week for Oct. 21-27 as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Thursday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced Friday morning. Chance McDonald, QB, Steilacoom: McDonald passed for 440 yards and a school-record seven touchdowns, leading the Sentinels past River Ridge, 55-20.

Marcus King, RB, Odessa: King rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns and added two receiving TDs in No. 1 Odessa's 92-6 win over No. 2 Almira/Coulee-Hartline.

Justin Baker, WR, Kennedy Catholic: Baker had a career-high six touchdowns (five receiving, one rushing) to go with 197 total yards (166 receiving, 31 rushing) in Kennedy Catholic's 69-36 win over Kentwood.

Julien Simon, WR, Lincoln: Simon did a little bit of everything in Lincoln's 42-21 win over Lakes. He rushed for 41 yards on 12 carries, scored on three touchdown runs, completed a two-point conversion pass, had a pass deflection and notched a big sack on Lakes quarterback Justin Brennan.

Jovan Ruffin, LB, Ferris: Ruffin returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown with less than three minutes left in the game to lift Ferris to a 20-14 comeback win over Lewis and Clark.

Efton Chism, WR, Monroe: Chism finished 3-for-3 passing for 118 yards and a touchdown, caught five passes for 57 yards, and rushed five times for 63 yards and two scores in Monroe's 32-10 win over Glacier Peak.

Josh Webb, RB, Kelso: Webb set a single-game school record for rushing yards in Kelso's 29-28 win over Mountain View, rushing 33 times for 358 yards and four touchdowns.

Ethan Morrill, RB, Aberdeen: Morrill, a senior, rushed 18 times for 318 yards and five touchdowns in Aberdeen's 50-6 win over Rochester.

Rollin Levon, RB, Selah: Levon, a junior, ran for a school-record 341 yards on 28 carries in Selah's 52-12 win over Grandview.

Adam Dafoe, QB, Timberline: Dafoe passed for 168 yards and four touchdowns in Timberline's 34-14 win over North Thurston.

Jordan Dwyer, WR, Puyallup: Dwyer hauled in eight receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns in Puyallup's 40-6 win over Curtis.

Gavin Boggs, RB, Davenport: Boggs rushed for 274 yards and five touchdowns in Davenport's 39-32 win over Lakeside.

Caleb Woodcock, WR, West Valley (Yakima): Woodcock, a junior, had nine receptions for 183 yards and two touchdowns in West Valley's 52-34 win over Davis.

Liam Mallory, WR/DB, Hockinson: Mallory, a sophomore, had a career high seven receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns, and he returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown in Hockinson's 34-16 win over Washougal.

LeAndre Gaines, RB, W.F. West: Gaines carried the ball 14 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns in W.F. West's 49-14 win over Centralia.

Natalie Degagne, Kennedy Catholic girls soccer: Degagne scored a hat trick in Kennedy Catholic's 4-1 win over Hazen on Oct. 22.
