SBLive Indiana high school girls basketball Power 25 rankings (Feb. 7): Lake Central moves into Top 10
The playoffs tipped off with a fair share of drama, including a top-five matchup that went to double overtime.
Lawrence North, Gibson Southern and Valparaiso all vault into the rankings after winning sectionals.

Here's a look at the SBLive Indiana Power 25 girls basketball rankings (with records through Feb. 6):
1. South Bend Washington (26-0)
Last week: 1
The Panthers lost senior captain Amiyah Reynolds to a season-ending injury, per the team's Twitter account. But they cruised to a Class 4A sectional title with wins against Mishawaka (85-51), South Bend Adams (77-30) and Plymouth (65-30). They play No. 25 Valparaiso at LaPorte on Saturday.
2. Fishers (23-2)
Last week: 2
The Tigers have won 17 straight after edging No. 4 and host Noblesville 67-64 in double overtime in a 4A sectional semifinal and beating No. 13 Hamilton Southeastern 58-44 in the title game. They also beat Carmel 63-43. Fishers meets No. 6 Homestead on Saturday at Marion.
3. Bedford North Lawrence (23-3)
Last week: 4
The Stars have won nine in a row after rolling to a 4A sectional title with victories against Jennings County (51-38), Jeffersonville (65-50) and Silver Creek (62-25). They host Evansville Central on Saturday.
4. Noblesville (21-4)
Last week: 3
The Millers' 14-game winning streak was snapped and their season ended with a 67-64, double-overtime loss to No. 2 Fishers in a 4A sectional semifinal.
5. Fort Wayne Snider (20-4)
Last week: 8
The Panthers beat DeKalb 50-36 and No. 11 Fort Wayne Carroll 58-52 to win a 4A sectional title. They meet West Lafayette Harrison on Saturday at Marion.
6. Homestead (19-5)
Last week: 9
The Spartans won their 4A sectional with victories over No. 5 Columbia City (46-45), Fort Wayne Wayne (73-32) and Huntington North (59-44). They play No. 2 Fishers at Marion on Saturday.
7. Twin Lakes (26-0)
Last week: 7
The Class 3A favorites held off West Lafayette 68-61 in double overtime in a 3A sectional semifinal. They bookended that with wins against North Montgomery (76-23) and Benton Central (56-32), Twin Lakes faces Garrett at Bellmont.
8. Center Grove (21-4)
Last week: 10
The Trojans, who have not lost since November and have won 17 straight, beat Greenwood 56-26, Bloomington North 42-30 and Mooresville 42-25 to win a 4A sectional. They play No. 24 Franklin at Bedford North Lawrence.
9. Columbia City (20-3)
Last week: 5
The Eagles' season ended with a 46-45 sectional quarterfinal loss to No. 6 Homestead.
10. Lake Central (21-5)
Last week: 12
The Indians coasted to a 4A sectional title with wins over East Chicago Central (60-15), Munster (55-39) and Hammond Central (58-21). They meet No. 17 Northridge on Saturday at LaPorte.

11. Fort Wayne Carroll (16-8)
Last ranking: 13
Playing in one of the toughest sectionals in the state, the Chargers knocked out No. 12 Fort Wayne Northrop 59-38 and beat East Noble 57-34 before losing 58-52 to No. 5 Fort Wayne Snider.
12. Fort Wayne Northrop (19-4)
Last ranking: 6
The Bruins lost 59-38 to No. 11 Fort Wayne Carroll in a 4A sectional quarterfinal.
13. Hamilton Southeastern (21-3)
Last ranking: 14
The Royals beat No. 14 Zionsville 46-42 in the semifinals of another loaded 4A sectional before losing 58-44 to No. 2 Fishers in the title game.
14. Zionsville (20-3)
Last ranking: 15
The Eagles beat Westfield 45-31 before losing 46-42 to No. 13 Hamilton Southeastern in the semifinals of the rugged 4A sectional at Noblesville.
15. Norwell (21-3)
Last ranking: 16
The Knights won a 3A sectional by beating Peru 70-25 and Northwestern 55-54. They play Hamilton Heights on Saturday at Bellmont.
16. Brownsburg (16-9)
Last ranking: 17
The Bulldogs won a 4A sectional by beating Plainfield 65-48 and Avon 55-47. They face No. 18 Lawrence North on Saturday at Decatur Central.
17. Northridge (22-5)
Last ranking: 18
The Raiders are 4A sectional champs after beating Penn 59-52, Goshen 54-42 and Elkhart 56-53. They play No. 10 Lake Central at Saturday at LaPorte.
18. Lawrence North (17-9)
Last ranking: NR
The Wildcats beat Indianapolis North Central 44-38, Indianapolis Cathedral 42-36 and No, 19 Warren Central 70-57 to win a 4A sectional. They play No. 16 Brownsburg on Saturday at Decatur Central.
19. Warren Central (17-7)
Last ranking: 19
The Warriors beat Lawrence Central 60-58 and Indianapolis Attucks 71-27 before falling 70-57 to No. 18 Lawrence North in a 4A sectional final.
20. Corydon Central (24-2)
Last week: 20
The Panthers have won 12 in a row after defeating Charlestown 58-39, North Harrison 53-39 and Scottsburg 63-54 to claim a 3A sectional title. They play Rushville on Saturday at Charlestown.
21. Lafayette Central Catholic (19-6)
Last ranking: 21
The Knights' winning streak is at nine games after knocking off Seeger (69-36) and Carroll (Flora) 52-44 in 2A sectional action. They meet Fort Wayne Luers on Saturday at Lapel.
22. Gibson Southern (20-4)
Last ranking: NR
The Titans handed Evansville Memorial just its second loss of the season in a 3A sectional final, winning 55-49. Earlier, they beat Evansville Mater Dei 59-54, Next up is Princeton on Saturday at Charlestown.
23. Ben Davis (17-9)
Last ranking: NR
The Giants beat Southport 70-48, Pike 58-45 and Franklin Central 44-32 to win a 4A sectional. They face Mount Vernon (Fortville) on Saturday at Decatur Central.
24. Franklin (18-5)
Last ranking: 25
The Grizzly Cubs beat Columbus North 48-45, Whiteland 66-43 and Shelbyville 48-29 to win a 4A sectional. They play No. 8 Center Grove Saturday at Bedford North Lawrence.
25. Valparaiso (23-2)
Last ranking: NR
The Vikings won their first sectional since 2005, beating Crown Point 40-34, Chesterton 60-46 and Portage 47-33. They play No. 1 South Bend Washington on Saturday at LaPorte.
