Look: Zoe Goodman leads New Hope to series sweep of Vicksburg in MHSAA 5A softball playoffs

New Hope advances to the Class 5A state semifinals

Zoe Goodman went 3-for-5 and scored two runs to lead New Hope to a 10-2 victory over Vicksburg in Game 2 of their MHSAA 5A softball playoff series on Saturday.

With the victory New Hope earned a 2-0 series sweep and a berth in the state semifinals. 

Ada Dueitt added three hits and three RBI for New Hope, who led 10-1 after five innings.

Trinity McGloster had two hits and drove in both runs for Vicksburg.
