Monet Witherspoon, John Burroughs girls basketball
Witherspoon went 10-for-14 en route to a game-high 25 points to lead John Burroughs to a 53-42 win over Francis Howell Central in the Class 4 quarterfinals.
Cam Lee, Duchesne boys basketball
Lee led the Pioneers with 12 points, six rebounds and six assists despite a 56-53 loss to Charleston in the Class 3 semifinals on March 10.
Ellie Paloucek, Webster Groves girls basketball
Paluoucek, a senior guard, had a game-high 15 points during Webster Groves’ 41-27 win over Cape Girardeau Notre Dame in the Class 5 quarterfinals.
Austin Schwebach, Stanberry boys basketball
Despite a 71-45 loss to South Iron in the Class 1 title game, the senior used the final game of his high school career to notch a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Kiley Duchardt, St. Joseph’s girls basketball
Duchardt, a senior forward, had 13 points, eight rebounds and five blocks to help St. Joseph’s beat Jackson 41-37 in the Class 6 quarterfinals.
Matt Enright, Webster Groves boys basketball
Enright matched his career high with 29 points during the Statesmen’s 75-65 win over Cape Girardeau in the Class 5 quarterfinals.
Brooklyn Rhodes, Whitfield girls basketball
Whitfield used a 44-27 win over Warrenton to reach the Class 5 semifinals, and Rhodes was a crucial part in that with a game-high 17 points.
Stevie Winston, Lift for Life boys basketball
Despite a season-ending 59-46 loss to New Madrid County Central, Winston notched his first double-double of the season with a team-high 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Ayden Shannon, Wellington-Napoleon girls basketball
The senior guard was 7-for-16 with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists during a 52-31 win over Ellington on March 12.
Larry Hughes Jr., CBC boys basketball
Hughes, a senior guard, did a little bit of everything during CBC’s 53-40 win over SLUH in the Class 6 quarterfinals with 9 points, seven rebounds, an assist, steal and block.
Lauren Burright, St. Joseph Benton girls basketball
The senior forward scored a team-high 15 points to help lead the Cardinals to a 48-35 win over St. Pius X and into the Class 4 semifinals.
Drenin Dinkins, South Iron boys basketball
Dinkins, a senior, used a game-high 34 points to push South Iron to a 71-45 win over Stanberry in the Class 1 title game.
Destiny Buerge, Carl Junction girls basketball
Buerge, a junior, had 24 points, five rebounds and three assists despite a season-ending 55-46 loss to West Plains last Saturday.
Jotham Daniels, Chaminade boys basketball
Daniels scored a game-high 24 points while draining five 3-pointers during the Red Devils’ 57-37 win over Fort Zumwalt South in the Class 5 quarterfinals.
Maggie Collins, Platte Valley girls basketball
Collins, a sophomore, had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds during Platte Valley’s 45-37 win over Leeton in the Class 1 semifinals.
Kristian Davis, Cardinal Ritter boys basketball
Davis, a senior guard, was everywhere with 8 points, seven rebounds, and a pair of assists during the Lions’ dominant 67-47 win over St. Dominic in the Class 5 quarterfinals.
Macie Mays, El Dorado Springs girls basketball
The junior guard had a team-high 15 points in addition to four rebounds and four assists during the Bulldogs’ 46-44 win over Stafford in the Class 3 semifinals.
Trey Williams Jr., Vashon boys basketball
Williams Jr., a freshman, nailed five 3-pointers en route to a team-high 15 points to help lead Vashon to a 69-44 win over Mexico in the Class 4 quarterfinals.
Charlize Broaden, St. Joseph Central girls basketball
Broaden, a junior, had a team-high 16 points and was one of only two Central players who scored more than 5 points during the Indians’ 47-37 loss to Blue Springs South in the Class 6 quarterfinals.
Fletravion Stanback, Charleston boys basketball
After a season-worst performance in the semifinals, the junior bounced back with a game-high 25 points to lead Charleston to a 58-56 win over Lafayette County in the Class 3 title game.
