SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Quarterback Ben Norori threw for three touchdowns in guiding Balboa to the school's first CIF State football title with a resounding 43-0 victory over Taft-Woodland Hills on Saturday afternoon in the 7-A championship game.

The Buccaneers (9-4) rushed out to a commanding 27-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back.

Davondre Black returned the opening kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown as Balboa won for the ninth time in its past 10 games.
