CLEMMONS, NORTH CAROLINA – Coming off a junior season in which he rushed for 1,637 yards, West Forsyth (North Carolina) senior running back Caman Chaplin is tearing it up again in 2023.

In just six games, Chaplin has carried the rock 124 times for 1,255 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has now scored 36 rushing touchdowns since the start of the 2022 season. He is averaging 10.1 yards per carry and more than 209 yards per game.

This season he has also caught 13 passes for 176 yards and one touchdown.

Last Friday he rushed for a season-high 314 yards on 36 carries and scored four touchdowns in a 36-25 loss to Regan.

To date, Chaplin's only D1 offer has come from the Naval Academy, which is known for its ability to run the ball. As he continues to put up numbers and put out impressive film, chances are his list of suitors will grow.
