Ohio high school football playoff brackets: 2023 state tournament matchups, game times for final four

What started 64 high school football teams across seven divisions for a total of 448 teams is now down to just 28 teams with four remaining in each division to fight for a state championship in Ohio.

All seven divisions began the postseason on Friday, Oct. 27 with all games being played on Friday nights throughout the state semifinal.

Now with just four teams left in each division, the remainder of the playoffs will be played at neutral sites, and the Ohio High School Athletic Association released the state semifinal pairings Sunday afternoon, along with the location for each game.

The seven OHSAA football state championship games will be played in Canton at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium from Nov. 30-Dec. 2.

Thursday, Nov. 30 – Division II championship game, 7 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 1 – Division VI championship game, 10:30 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 1 – Division III championship game, 3 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 1 – Division I championship game, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 2 - Division VII championship game, 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, Dec. 2 – Division V championship game, 3 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 2 – Division IV championship game, 7:30 p.m.
