Congratulations to Midwest City boys basketball small forward Jacobi Sebock for being voted SBLive’s Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 17-23!

The senior scored 14 points, including making the game-winning 3-pointer in the closing seconds, to left the Bombers past Edmond Memorial, 38-36, to win the Bruce Gray Invitational Saturday at Edmond Deer Creek. Sebock also had a game-saving block as time expired.

Sebock received 35.78% of the vote, beating out Lomega's Darcy Roberts who finished second with 29.32%. Kingfisher's Xavier Ridenour finished third with 16.14% and Edmond North's Laci Steele finished fourth with 6.32%. There were over 52,000 votes tallied this week!

Lydia McAlvain, Tahlequah girls basketball

McAlvain had a team-high 17 points as the Lady Tigers claimed the Catoosa Port City Classic championship on Saturday with a 67-41 win against Owasso. She also had 10 points in Tahlequah’s semifinal win against Catoosa.

Baylor Franz, Edmond Memorial girls basketball

Franz had 18 points on Saturday as Memorial claimed the title at the Titan Classic in Midwest City with a 68-49 win against Midwest City Carl Albert. Named the tournament’s MVP, Franz averaged 24 points in the Lady Bulldogs’ tournament run, scoring 32 points in their semifinal win Friday, 62-55, against Harding Prep.

Laci Steele, Edmond North girls basketball

The junior forward had a game-high 17 points as the Lady Huskies remained undefeated on the season after a 43-26 win against Tulsa Union to win the Jenks-Union Invitational title on Saturday while being named the tournament’s MVP. Steele also scored her 1,000th career point in North’s win against Norman on Jan. 18.

Jordyn Rollins, Norman girls basketball

Rollins had a game-high 16 points as the Lady Tigers claimed the title at the Bruce Gray Invitational tournament at Edmond Deer Creek on Saturday with a 59-43 win against Stillwater.

Leila Washington, Garber girls basketball

Washington had 22 points, including the game-winning layup in the closing seconds, as the Lady Wolverines defeated Drummond, 46-44, to win the Skeltur Conference tournament title Saturday in Enid.

Darcy Roberts, Lomega girls basketball

Roberts had 17 points as the Lady Raiders claimed the Cherokee Strip Conference tournament title Saturday at Pioneer High School with a 61-26 win against Kremlin-Hillsdale.

Riley Miller, Porum girls basketball

Miller hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to finish with nine points in leading the Lady Panthers to a come-from-behind 41-38 win against Quinton in Saturday’s Cross Telephone Invitational championship game at Porum.

Cailey Grinstead, Muldrow girls basketball

Grinstead led her team with 12 points as the Lady Bulldogs claimed the Checotah Crossroads Classic championship on Saturday with a 58-35 win against Wagoner.

Samantha Shanks, Webbers Falls girls basketball

Shanks had 15 points as the Lady Warriors moved to 12-0 on the season after a 54-19 win against Dewar on Friday.

Jazmin Adams, Choctaw girls basketball

Adams was named the MVP of the John Nobles Tournament in Moore as the Lady Yellowjackets defeated Kansas school Bishop Miege, 53-43. She also had 17 points in Choctaw’s semifinal win against Midwest City and 11 in the Lady Jackets’ first-round win against Norman North.

Devynn Harris, Amber-Pocasset girls basketball

Harris finished with 23 points as Amber-Pocasset claimed the Grady County Tournament championship on Saturday with a 50-45 win against Minco.

Randi Harding, Mustang girls basketball

Harding scored 34 points in the Lady Broncos’ win against Stillwater on Jan. 17. She was also named the MVP of the Shawnee Tournament as Mustang claimed the championship.

Tori Kilburn, Pittsburg girls basketball

Kilburn had a team-high 14 points as Pittsburg defeated Stuart, 55-38, to claim the Pitt 8 tournament title on Saturday.

Taylor Haberman, Okemah girls basketball

Haberman had 19 points to help Okemah to a 52-45 win against Seminole in the championship game of the 66 Conference Tournament on Saturday.

Emily Robinson, Caddo girls basketball

Robinson scored 22 points and was named the MVP of the Bryan County Tournament as the Lady Bruins claimed Saturday’s championship game with a 50-36 win against Silo.

Allyssa Parker, Pocola girls basketball

Parker scored 72 points in the Lady Indians’ three games at the LeFlore County Tournament, including 29 points in the title game as Pocola outlasted Howe in overtime, 66-65.

Josey West, Perry girls basketball

West had the game-winning shot at the buzzer as the Lady Maroons captured the Cashion County Line Tournament with a 38-36 win against Dale. Earlier in the tournament, she scored 23 points in an opening-round win against Oklahoma Christian School.

Gracy Wernli, Bixby girls basketball

Wernli led the Lady Spartans with 20 points in their 65-39 win against Bartlesville on Jan. 18.

Madison Burroughs, Pryor girls basketball

Burroughs led her team with 15 points as Pryor claimed the title in its own Pryor Invitational Tournament with a 40-32 win against Sequoyah-Claremore.

Aniyah Winston, Idabel girls basketball

Winston poured in 25 points as the Lady Warriors claimed the Atoka Tournament championship with an 81-49 win against Kingston on Saturday, which was also Idabel’s 14th straight victory. Winston was also named tournament MVP.

Joshua Udoumoh, Victory Christian boys basketball

Udoumoh scored 28 points as the Conquerors won the Catoosa Port City Classic title on Saturday, beating Tulsa Edison, 68-61. He also had 17 points in Victory’s semifinal win against Sand Springs.

Quincy Hopkins, Midwest City Carl Albert boys basketball

Hopkins scored 21 points, 15 coming in the second half, as the Titans won their own Titan Classic tournament title Saturday with a 41-38 win against Norman.

Dayton Forsythe, Dale boys basketball

Forsythe scored 17 points to help the Pirates past Cashion, 48-34, in the title game of the Cashion County Line Tournament. He had nine points and four assists in the fourth quarter.

Solomon Bishop, Garber boys basketball

Bishop scored 14 points as the Wolverines defeated Drummond, 56-46, to claim the Skeltur Conference tournament title Saturday in Enid.

Gabe Wyatt, Cherokee boys basketball

Wyatt was his team’s top scorer with 10 points as Cherokee downed Timberlake, 42-30, to win the Cherokee Strip Conference tournament title Saturday at Pioneer High School.

Geral Washington, Midway boys basketball

Washington had 18 points as Midway claimed the Cross Telephone Invitational title at Porum on Saturday with a 56-48 win against Keota.

Jax Kerr, Hilldale boys basketball

Kerr scored 21 points and made six 3-pointers to help lead the Hornets to a 54-39 win against Kiefer at the Dave Calvert Invitational title game in Kiefer on Saturday.

Jack Southern, Wagoner boys basketball

Southern finished with 13 points as the Bulldogs won the Checotah Crossroads Classic on Saturday with a 55-43 win against Eufaula.

Chiante Tramble, Moore boys basketball

Tramble had 25 points and was named the MVP of the John Nobles Tournament in Moore as the Lions won the championship Saturday, 84-67, against Southmoore. He also had 19 points in the Lions’ semifinal win against Westmoore.

Anthony Allen, Broken Arrow boys basketball

Allen scored 96 points in the Tigers’ three wins at the Shawnee Tournament, and he had 29 points in the championship game Saturday as Broken Arrow defeated Choctaw, 55-48. He was also named the tournament’s MVP.

Lathan Boone, Booker T. Washington boys basketball

Boone scored 22 points, 16 of those coming in the fourth quarter, as the Hornets posted a 61-48 win against Jenks to win the Jenks-Union Invitational title on Saturday. Boone also hit six 3-point baskets in the win.

Xavier Ridenour, Kingfisher boys basketball

Ridenour scored 26 points and made 7-of-9 baskets from 3-point range as the Yellowjackets claimed the title of their Kingfisher Invitational with a 60-40 win against Guthrie.

Eestyn Prater, Sequoyah-Claremore boys basketball

A freshman, Prater scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help the Eagles to the Pryor Invitational Tournament title Saturday with a 50-41 win against Sallisaw. He was also named the tournament’s MVP.

Zeke Fuentes, Madill boys basketball

Fuentes turned in a 39-point performance as Madill claimed the Atoka Tournament title on Saturday with a 51-45 win against Kingston.

Isaac McDoulett, Tuttle boys basketball

McDoulett scored 65 points as the Tigers won all three games in claiming the Jones Tournament title. In Saturday’s championship game, he had 14 points along with seven rebounds and four assists in Tuttle’s 43-37 win against Lindsay.

Connor Clayton, Stuart boys basketball

Clayton had a team-high 15 points as Stuart claimed the Pitt 8 Tournament championship with a 46-37 win against Pittsburg on Saturday.

Garrett Scott, Pocola boys basketball

Scott led the Indians with 17 points and made two 3-point baskets to help Pocola past Spiro, 53-39, in the title game of the LeFlore County Tournament on Saturday in Talihina.

Jacob Scyrkels, Collinsville boys basketball

The senior guard finished with 28 points, 23 of those after halftime, as the Cardinals rallied to force overtime and beat Tahlequah, 66-56, on Jan. 18.

Percy Green, Del City boys basketball

Green scored 15 points as the Eagles claimed their ninth straight win on Jan. 18 with a 50-41 triumph at Midwest City.

Laney Jones, Edmond North girls swimming

Jones took first place in the 100-yard freestyle (54.82) and the 50-yard freestyle (24.98) and was part of the 400 freestyle relay team that won first place at Saturday’s COAC conference meet, as the Lady Huskies also won the team championship.

Nora Weber, Edmond North girls swimming

Weber had first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle (2:00.98) and 500 freestyle (5:17.88) and was part of the first-place 400 freestyle relay team at Saturday’s COAC conference meet.

Avery Littlefield, Stillwater girls swimming

Littlefield was first in the 200 individual medley (2:11.78) and the 100 breaststroke (1:08.07) at Saturday’s COAC conference meet.

Riley Conway, Edmond North boys swimming

Conway finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.58) and the 100-yard freestyle (50.89) at Saturday’s COAC conference meet. He was also part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished first (1:31.81), as the Huskies also claimed the team championship.

Ryan Healy, Edmond North boys swimming

Healy was first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:36.20) and in the 200-yard individual medley (1:52.72) at the COAC conference meet, and was also part of the first-place 200 medley relay (1:42.27) and 400 freestyle relay (3:22.90) teams.

Gustavo Barreira, Edmond Deer Creek boys swimming

Barreira won two individual titles at Saturday’s COAC conference meet, claiming the 100-yard butterfly (53.12) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.23).

Shyann Kissinger, Enid girls swimming

Kissinger took first place in the 200-yard freestyle (2:16.60) and 100-yard butterfly (1:01.71) at Saturday’s Big 7 Conference meet, helping Enid claim the girls team championship.

Mattie Shearer, Ponca City girls swimming

Shearer won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.95) and the 50 freestyle (24.97) and was part of the first-place 200 medley relay squad (2:03.32) at the Big 7 Conference meet.

Weston Stewart, Enid boys swimming

Stewart won two first-place individual titles at the Big 7 Conference meet, the 500 freestyle (5:05.29) and the 200 freestyle (1:52.98) while helping Enid take first place in the boys division.

Bryce Steel, Wagoner boys wrestling

Steel claimed first place in the 138-pound weight class at the Skiatook Tournament and totaled 35 points in helping the Bulldogs win the team title. He had five falls in his bracket, including one in 1:02 to win the title.

Roman Garcia, Wagoner boys wrestling

Garcia also had 35 points for the Bulldogs as he won the 195-pound weight class. He had five falls to win his bracket, including the title in a time of 1:54.

Cade White, Comanche boys wrestling

White won first place in the 285-pound weight class in the Southern Oklahoma Classic at Plainview. He scored 35 points for his team, which took first place. White won his bracket with five pin-falls, including the title in 2:39.

Keller Kizarr, Marlow boys wrestling

Kizarr took first place in the 106-pound weight class at the Paul Post Classic in Sallisaw, scoring 54 points in helping the Outlaws take the boys team championship. He had seven pin-falls in his bracket win, taking the title match in 57 seconds.

Derrick Kersey, Cushing boys wrestling

Kersey won the 170-pound weight class at the Tulsa 7 Conference meet in Mannford, scoring 24 points in helping Cushing win the team title. He had three pin-falls to win his class, including the title match in a time of 5:09.

Harley Andrews, Tuttle boys wrestling

Andrews took first place in the 285-pound weight class at the Greg Henning Invite in Tuttle, and scored 34 points as the Tigers claimed the team title. Andrews won his bracket with six pinfalls, including the title match in a time of 1:06. 

Isabel Limon, Stilwell girls wrestling

Limon won the 132-pound weight class at the Paul Post Classic in Sallisaw and scored 26 points in helping the Lady Indians to a second-place finish in the girls division, the most points by an Oklahoma school in the field. Limon had five pinfalls in her bracket win, including 2:17 to take first place.
