Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for Feb. 28-March 6 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Banks boys basketball

No. 11 Banks (19-6) pulled off the biggest upset in the 4A bracket with a 58-55 win at No. 6 La Grande on Friday.

Beaverton girls basketball

Beaverton (23-1) knocked off Metro League foe Westview 37-22 in Saturday’s second round and will take the top seed into this week’s 6A tournament at the Chiles Center. 

Cascade Christian boys basketball

Cascade Christian earned a 52-45 win over De La Salle North for the 3A title Saturday, getting a game-high 26 points and 16 rebounds from Austin Maurer. He was joined on the all-tournament team by teammate Cody Reece. Cascade Christian finished the season with a 23-5 record. 

Clackamas girls basketball

Clackamas (25-2) beat its first two playoff opponents by an average of 33 points to punch its ticket to this week’s 6A tournament at the Chiles Center. 

Cleveland boys basketball

The Warriors earned their first state quarterfinal berth since 1962 by topping Lincoln 63-53 in a second-round playoff game at Cleveland High School.

Cleveland girls basketball

The No. 24 Warriors were the lowest seed to record a win in the 6A playoffs, going on the road to stun No. 9 Mountainside with a 71-65 first-round victory. They nearly won at No. 8 West Linn in Round 2, falling by a single point, 56-55.

Crane boys basketball

Crane landed four players in double figures in its 62-53 win over South Wasco for the 1A title Saturday. Jared Zander led the charge with 16 points. Cody Siegner and Carter Nichols earned spots on the all-tournament team. Crane completed a perfect 31-0 season. 

Crane girls basketball

Crane won the 1A title 56-47 over Damascus Christian in Saturday’s finale. Kortney Doman finished with a game-high 19 points, and she was joined by older sister Leslie Doman on the all-tournament team. Crane finished the season with a 30-1 record. 

Hidden Valley girls basketball

No. 13 Hidden Valley is the lowest seed to reach the 4A state tournament thanks to a 51-42 road win over No. 4 Junction City.

Jefferson girls basketball

The Democrats recorded their first playoff win since 2010 with a 54-20 trouncing of Bend. (STORY, PHOTOS) They nearly knocked off Benson in Round 2, losing by just two points, 64-62. 

Junction City boys basketball

Junction City (22-3) earned a 54-39 win over Molalla and takes the No. 1 seed into this week’s 4A state tournament in North Bend. 

Mountainside boys basketball

No. 11 Mountainside (19-7) is the lowest seed to reach the 6A tournament after notching a 58-49 win at Mt. Hood Conference champion Central Catholic on Friday. It’s the first state tournament appearance in program history for the Mavericks. (STORY, PHOTOS

Nyssa girls basketball

Nyssa defeated Burns 33-30 to claim the 3A crown Saturday led by all-tournament player Gracie Johnson, who scored a game-high 14 points. The Bulldogs ended the season with a 27-2 record. 

Philomath girls basketball

Philomath (19-4) earned a 69-52 playoff win over Henley on Friday to take the No. 1 seed into this week’s 4A tournament at Marshfield. 

Putnam girls basketball

No. 11 Putnam is the lowest seed to reach the 5A tournament thanks to a 45-39 victory at No. 6 Crater. 

Redmond boys basketball

Redmond (20-5) earned a 78-58 win over Milwaukie and takes the No. 1 seed into this week’s 5A state tournament at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis. 

Roosevelt boys basketball

The Roughriders raced to a 10-0 lead after three minutes against North Medford and never looked back in a 61-49 second-round playoff victory that secured their first trip to the big-school state tournament since 1958. (STORY, PHOTOS

Summit boys basketball

Summit (25-0) remains the only big-school unbeaten after dispatching its first two playoff opponents by an average of 29 points. 

Union girls basketball

Union earned a 52-38 win over Salem Academy to claim the 2A title Saturday with all-tournament player Callie Glenn leading the way with 20 points. Union ended the season with a 25-3 record. 

Western Christian boys basketball

Western Christian notched a 54-53 double-overtime win over Salem Academy for the 2A title Saturday with Chaz Storm hitting the winning basket with 0:10 to play. Austin Sladek led the team with 19 points and was named to the all-tournament team. Western Christian finished the season with a 30-3 record. 

Willamette girls basketball

Willamette (25-1) recorded a 54-37 win over Milwaukie and takes the No. 1 seed into this week’s 5A tournament at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.
