Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 13-19 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Jett Birdsall, Sunset

The junior guard tallied 21 points, five assists and three rebounds and drew a charge on defense for the Apollos in their 74-56 win at Westview in a Metro League game.

Cash Boe, Elkton

The senior guard scored 30 points and had nine rebounds for the Elks in their 51-48 overtime win over Umpqua Valley Christian in a Skyline League playoff game at Elkton. He had 21 points and 15 rebounds in a 58-45 win over Days Creek.

Benjamin Bourne, Santiam Christian

The senior had yet another huge double-double, this time with 35 points and 12 rebounds as he helped the Eagles post a 66-49 victory against Jefferson (3A) in a PacWest Conference playoff game at Central High School.

Pearson Carmichael, Summit

The junior tallied a game-high 32 points while also having eight rebounds for the Storm in a 70-56 victory over Redmond in an Intermountain Conference game at Summit High School.

Joseph Fusco, Oakland

The sophomore guard had 21 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Oakers in their 62-59 victory over Gold Beach in the Valley Coast Conference championship game at Sutherlin High School.

Keith Gaskell, Days Creek

The senior guard/wing scored a game-high 20 points and added five assists for the Wolves in their 56-47 home win over New Hope Christian in a Skyline League playoff game. He scored 23 points in a 68-60 loss to Myrtle Point.

Ray Gerrard, North Douglas

The senior post poured in 37 points, including 26 in the second half, in leading the Warriors to a 63-47 win over Elkton in a Skyline League tournament game at North Bend High School. He had 31 points and 14 rebounds in a 67-57 victory against Myrtle Point.

Drew Hall, Cascade Christian

The sophomore guard had another huge game for the Challengers, this time with 15 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, five steals and two blocks in their 68-23 home win over Coquille in a Far West League playoff contest.

Mark Hamper, West Linn

The senior forward had a big Senior Night performance for the Lions with 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists in an 82-60 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League contest.

Jalen Hill, De La Salle North Catholic

The sophomore post had 26 points and eight rebounds to lead the way for the Knights in their 70-59 win over Westside Christian in the Lewis & Clark League championship game.

Spencer Horne, Cascade

The senior guard had a strong all-around performance for the Cougars with 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals in their 74-57 win at North Marion in an Oregon West Conference contest.

Boden Howell, South Medford

The sophomore guard recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds while also having three assists and two steals for the Panthers in their 56-43 win at Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference game.

James Kefgen, Liberty

The sophomore guard/wing sank seven 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a game-high 29 points for the Falcons in their 67-42 win over Newberg in a Pacific Conference game at Liberty High School. He tallied 23 points in a 68-66 loss at McMinnville.

Ben Kitzhaber, North Eugene

The senior forward turned in a double-double for the Highlanders with 11 points and 11 rebounds in their 66-51 win over Thurston in a Midwestern League contest at North Eugene High School.

Austin Maurer, Cascade Christian

The junior center, returning from injury for his first game in nearly a month, had 27 points, eight rebounds and five blocks for the Challengers in their 80-29 win over Douglas in the Far West League championship game.

Mykah Mendoza, Roseburg

The junior guard scored a school-record 48 points, topping the old mark of 43, in helping the team run to an 88-71 win over South Eugene in a Southwest Conference game at Roseburg High School.

Adrian Mosely, West Linn

The senior guard had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds while also having six blocks for the Lions in their 82-60 home victory against Tigard in a Three Rivers League game.

Solomon Nice, South Eugene

The senior forward recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, helping lead the Axe to a 63-58 win over Willamette in a Southwest Conference game at South Eugene High School.

Esyah Pippa-White, Gresham

The senior guard poured in a game-high 42 points while also having 11 rebounds, six assists and five steals in leading the way for the Gophers in their 76-67 win over Sandy in a Mt. Hood Conference game at Gresham High School.

Walt Rosenberg, McMinnville

The sophomore forward recorded a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies in their 68-66 win over Liberty in a Pacific Conference game at McMinnville High School.

Gauge Rueber, Pendleton

The senior guard filled up the stat sheet for the Buckaroos with 11 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in their 57-50 win over La Grande in a Greater Oregon League playoff game.

Moroni Seely-Roberts, Lincoln

The senior tallied a game-high 33 points to lead the way for the Cardinals in their 81-64 victory over Jefferson in a Portland Interscholastic League game at Lincoln High School.

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The senior guard had 31 points and four assists for the Lions in their 77-53 win over Lakeridge in a Three Rivers League game at Lakeridge High School. He had 26 points and a season-high 15 rebounds in an 82-60 home win over Tigard.

Isaiah Sim, South Albany

The senior tallied 16 points and nine rebounds for the RedHawks in their 65-61 victory over West Albany in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at South Albany High School.

Trevin Slagle, Canby

The junior wing recorded a double-double for the Cougars with 18 points and 13 rebounds in their 84-59 win over Centennial in a Northwest Oregon Conference game at Canby High School.

Liam Spencer, Sprague

The senior guard sank a school-record eight 3-pointers on his way to posting a game-high 30 points for the Olympians in their 65-56 win over South Salem in a Central Valley Conference game at Sprague High School.

Keenan Stewart, North Medford

The sophomore wing scored a game-high 19 points while also having eight rebounds and four assists for the Black Tornado in a 83-62 win over Roseburg in a Southwest Conference game at North Medford High School.

Nate Stiffler, Thurston

The sophomore turned in a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in leading the way for the Colts in their 63-44 win over Eagle Point in a Midwestern League game at Thurston High School.

Jackson Weiland, South Medford

The junior guard tallied 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting while also having four rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Panthers in their 62-52 victory at Willamette in a Southwest Conference clash.

Brayden West, Douglas

The junior had a double-double with 14 points and 12 assists for the Trojans in their 75-67 win over St. Mary’s of Medford in a Far West League playoff game at Douglas High School.

Chance White, Roosevelt

The junior guard tallied a game-high 32 points for the Roughriders in their 71-70 double-overtime victory at Jefferson in a Portland Interscholastic League contest.

Kenny Wilson, Camas Valley

The senior forward recorded a double-double for the Hornets with 20 points and 17 rebounds in a season-ending 59-55 overtime home win over Milo Adventist Academy in a nonleague contest.
