Paul Skoro of La Salle Prep voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week

Skoro received 82.75% of the vote, beating out North Eugene’s Kelin Knutson, who finished second with 5.04%

Congratulations to La Salle Prep’s Paul Skoro for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week for the week of Aug. 28-Sept. 3. 

Skoro, a junior on the La Salle Prep football team, making his debut at quarterback, ran for 148 yards and a touchdown for the Falcons in their 20-0 home win over St. Helens in a nonleague contest.

Skoro received 82.75% of the vote, beating out Kelin Knutson, a senior on the North Eugene football team, who finished second with 5.04%. Athan Palmateer, a senior on the South Salem football team, was third with 14.5% and Vance Sheffield, a junior on the La Salle Prep boys soccer team, was fourth with 2.09%. There were more than 2,000 votes tallied this week.
