Schuster's parents, Roger and Sharon, watched from the stands during Monday's game. The pitcher said of his mother: "I've got the confidence, and she's over there biting her nails and stuff. I'm having fun with it and she's nervous. She's probably going to make me cry as soon as I see her."

Schuster tossed his first no-hitter of the season on April 3. During the streak, the lefty has racked up 60 strikeouts.

The senior southpaw has committed to play baseball at Florida, but he hasn't ruled out going straight into professional baseball.

Mitchell coach Scot Wilcox praised the lefty's poise and performance: "I'll tell you what, he's got command of every single pitch. His curve ball, his slider, his change-up, he was just spotting it nicely. He was keeping their hitters off balance."

Despite the four-consecutive no-hitters, Schuster still has a ways to go to break the all-time high school record of six-consecutive no-nos.
