The Notre Dame Fighting Irish already have the nation's No. 1 recruiting class in the 2023 cycle.

And that haul is about to get even better.

On Wednesday, Lake Stevens High School (Washington) four-star running back Jayden Limar trimmed his list to a final four of Arizona, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon, and set a commitment date for May 26:

Prediction: Jayden Limar to Notre Dame

Limar has reportedly been high on Notre Dame since his visit last fall, but took a return trip for the spring game and left impressed.

Ford Sports Performance has already established a budding pipeline to Notre Dame following the recent signing of Union High School All-American wide receiver Tobias Merriweather.

It is highly likely Limar is set to add to that connection.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound ball-carrier is rated the No. 1 running back in the West region and the No. 11 running back overall,

He will be a major addition for a Notre Dame program that has made him a massive priority for the past several months, particularly through the budding relationship with head coach Marcus Freeman
