Aydin Breland, nation's No. 8 defensive lineman, loved Texas A&M's culture on trip; Georgia visit up next
The Texas A&M Aggies hosted arguably the top two class of 2024 defensive lineman in the West region over the weekend and both came away impressed.
>>> 5-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham 'loved' Texas A&M trip
Class of 2024 Mater Dei star Aydin Breland, the nation's No. 8 defensive lineman, immediately fell in love with the culture in College Station.
"It was great," he said. "I had a good time. I liked the campus and their facilities. I love the culture over there, as far as their fans (and) their history."
Breland also got a chance to chat with assistant coaches Elijah Robinson and Terry Price, noting that the interaction was a major highlight of his trip.
Next up for Breland is a visit to No. 1 Georgia for their showdown against No. 2 Tennessee.
It's still early in the 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman's recruitment, but Texas A&M clearly made an impression.
And given their recent success recruiting elite defensive line prospects, Jimbo Fisher's program is going to be one to watch when it comes to Breland.
