The recruitment of the quarterback position starts earlier than any other in college football, as the vast majority of bluechip signal-callers are verbally committed before the start of their senior years.

So, it makes sense that teams are already clamoring to get class of 2025 Houston County (Georgia) quarterback Antwann Hill on campus.

As a sophomore, the 6-foot-5, 215-pound signal-caller completed 70.5 percent of his while throwing for 3,663 yards and 40 touchdowns.

Hill is rated the nation's No. 57 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback in the sophomore class and has generated nearly 20 scholarship offers, highlighted by Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

On Wednesday, Hill announced he plans to take spring visits to Alabama (March 4) and Ole Miss (March 25).

While he doesn't yet have an offer from the Crimson Tide, Hill believes one could be coming.

"I do feel an offer (is) coming, but we’ll see because I know for a fact what I put on the tape this past year has to have coaches like, 'this is one of our top guys and we (got to) recruit him hard,' " he said.

Hill also indicated that despite Alabama's recent personnel turnover - both on the roster and into the NFL Draft and on the coaching staff - he believes the Crimson Tide are set to remain a top-5 program regardless.

Later in March, Hill will visit Lane Kiffin's program.

"Ole Miss is a fast-tempo offense that likes to get the ball in their playmakers' hands and let them do what they got recruited to do," he said. "What I’m looking for is a family environment and a coach that will follow my process and show me that I’m their guy and that they want me to lead that program to a national championship."

So far, none of the nation's top five 2025 quarterbacks have made verbal commitments, and Hill doesn't appear close to making a decision.

With Florida, Georgia, Ohio State and others already pushing hard, Alabama and Ole Miss will get a chance to impress him next month.
