Davon Benjamin visits Oregon; Nation's No. 2 cornerback has high praise for Ducks

Class of 2026 Oaks Christian (California) cornerback Davon Benjamin enjoyed his trip to Eugene

The Oregon Ducks thumped the Oregon State Beavers in a rivalry clash Friday night, and hosted several key prospects.

Among them was class of 2026 Oaks Christian (California) five-star cornerback Davon Benjamin, the nation's No. 2 cornerback.

The 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back isn't yet ready to discuss his top schools, but Oregon's culture left an impression.

"It was good," Benjamin said. "What stood out was how the brotherhood is and how everyone is so close and plays for each other, and how locked in they are when it comes to handling business. I enjoyed getting a chance to look around all the facilities and fields."

It was a big weekend for the Oaks Christian-Oregon connection, as the Ducks also played host to elite athlete Deshonne Redeaux, the nation's No. 4 running back in 2026.

While it is extremely early in the recruitment of 2026 prospects, it seems Oregon is doing everything it can to lay the groundwork for another stellar class down the road.
