Steele quarterback Elijah Favela threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns

CONVERSE, Texas — In an epic triple-overtime battle, Cibolo Steele held on for a 38-36 victory over Converse Judson to remain unbeaten and clinch the District 27-6A championship.

Jaydon Bailey scored five touchdowns for Steele and converted the game-winning two-point try in the third overtime. Steele quarterback Elijah Favela passed for 341 yards and three touchdowns.
