Not as much as a coach, but as an athlete I was very superstitious

• Any documentary on basketball

What is one word you hope your former teammates use to describe you?

Dedicated or passionate 

What do you believe is the proper role of parents when it comes to high school sports?

Active roll supporting their son/daughter through their career. Parents need to advocate for their son/daughter to have an open line of communication with their coach 

What was your most memorable moment as a coach?

Leading Battle Ground to the Tacoma Dome in 2018/2019 

Biggest challenge as a high school coach? 

The amount of time we are allowed with athletes. I wish there was more time to develop out of season 

The best player you’ve seen at the high school level?

The best player I have watch in WA is probably a toss up between Jaden McDaniels or Anton Watson

Why did you get into coaching? 

To give back to kids, teach them how to play basketball at a deeper level and to create life long memories
