I have finally made it into the 21st century and have a 46-inch HDTV. I thought I would be able to watch my favorite team, the Rangers live in HD, but because I live in Arizona, that is not the case.

Let me explain. Even though I pay to have MSG on DirecTV and Center Ice, I cannot see any live Rangers broadcast on the MSG feed in HD, as well as the Islanders, Devils and Sabres.

So not only do I not get Versus, I will most likely not be able to watch any of the above matchups when they play live in HD.

I can’t tell you what a disappointment it is for my family; it just isn’t fair and doesn’t make sense.

I pay for both and get neither.
