Americans tie AHL North Division semifinal with Heat

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Mike York had three assists and the Rochester Americans beat the Abbotsford Heat 4-1 Saturday in American Hockey League playoff action.

The Americans tied the best-of-seven North Division semifinal series 1-1. Game 3 is Monday in Abbotsford.

Jason Garrison, Michael Duco, Graham Mink and Jeff Taffe scored for Rochester.

John Lammers replied for Abbotsford.

Tyler Plante made 30 saves for Rochester.

David Shantz stopped 19 shots for Abbotsford.
