Anaheim Ducks sign Troy Bodie to one-year deal, send him to AHL affiliate

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks have signed right wing Troy Bodie to a one-year contract.

Bodie was expected to report to the Ducks' AHL affiliate in Syracuse on Wednesday.

Bodie went to training camp with the Winnipeg Jets, scoring one goal in four pre-season games.

After making his NHL debut with the Ducks in January 2009, Bodie began last season with Anaheim, but was claimed on waivers by Carolina on Nov. 16. He scored four points in 59 games last season with the Ducks and the Hurricanes.
