Bell's hit on Alfredsson not the worst part

In response to all the noise about Mark Bell’s hit on Daniel Alfredsson, I agree it is a shame he is out for a significant amount of time. However, what is more worthy of discussion is the repeated showing of Darcy Tucker telling Dany Heatley to watch out for his knee the next time they are on the ice.

In an era where we struggle to sell the game and catch up with the globalization of sports, I think this does more damage; it does nothing to promote a game of speed, skill and strength. Rather, it conjures images of a primitive game where players fight incessantly and beat each other with sticks.
