GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Chicago Blackhawks will try to

sweep their four-game season series with the Phoenix Coyotes on

Tuesday for the first time in 20 years.

The Blackhawks have outscored the Coyotes by a 13-4 margin over

their first three meeting this season, including a 7-1 rout on

December 7.

Chicago has not swept a season series against the Coyotes'

franchise since the 1988-89 campaign, when the team was located

in Winnipeg.

The Blackhawks have won 11 of their last 14 contests with the

only three losses coming to the defending champion Detroit Red

Wings. Chicago rebounded from its Winter Classic loss to

Detroit with a 5-2 triumph over the Calgary Flames.

Phoenix, which is opening a three-game homestand, is coming off

a 2-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

The Coyotes are looking to beat the Blackhawks for the first

time in more than a year, losing five straight to the Western

Conference foe. Phoenix's last win over Chicago was on January

3, 2007.
