Blue Jackets right wing Derek Dorsett put on injured reserve with broken hand

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed right wing Derek Dorsett on injured reserve with a broken hand retroactive to Dec. 12.

Dorsett was injured in Saturday's game against Anaheim and is expected to be out four weeks.

The 22-year-old has one goal and three assists, and a +2 plus/minus rating in 18 games this season. Dorsett had four goals and an assist in 52 games as a rookie last year.
